POSTPARTUM COMMUNITY SUPPORT CIRCLE
In partnership with Brilliant Births in Berkeley, California, this online postpartum support group provides a space for safe, confidential conversation with other recently postpartum individuals.

Infants newborn to 12 months welcome
Fridays from 9:00am to 10:00am on Zoom
6 week cohorts; last meeting in-person
In a non-judgmental atmosphere, we come together and share what we are going through in order to heal and offer support to others. There is no expectation to share more than feels comfortable. Some participants speak often, while others find comfort in listening and feeling less alone. Both ways of participating are welcome. This space is designed to honor your unique experience, wherever you may be in your postpartum journey. Many parents find that simply being witnessed during this stage brings relief and helps reduce feelings of isolation.
Topics of conversation include adjusting to life with a newborn, birth story processing, navigating postpartum emotions, going back to work, travel with your baby, sleep issues, and more. We may also explore identity shifts, balancing your own needs with caregiving, feeding experiences, and changes in relationships with partners, family, and friends. Conversations are guided but flexible, allowing participants to bring in what feels most relevant each week. Hearing a range of experiences often helps normalize what you are going through and reminds you that there is no single “right” way to move through postpartum life.
This group provides an opportunity to usher in this new period of life, develop coping skills, and grow in confidence as a new parent. Together, we focus on practical strategies for managing stress, cultivating self-compassion, and building trust in your instincts. The goal is not to offer quick fixes, but to create space for reflection, connection, and gentle growth. Over time, participants often notice that they feel more grounded, more supported, and more confident in their role. The consistent weekly structure allows relationships to form and community to develop in a meaningful way.
We also recognize that postpartum life is rarely predictable. Babies may need to be fed, soothed, or held during group, and that is fully welcomed. You are encouraged to tend to your baby as needed. The rhythm of the group naturally makes room for the realities of caring for an infant. Whether your baby is sleeping peacefully or having a fussy morning, you are welcome exactly as you are. The presence of babies adds warmth and authenticity to the space and reminds us that we are all navigating this together.
