About Jess

Hi, I’m Jess. I’m an EMDR and Perinatal Certified Therapist serving Oakland, Lafayette and Berkeley in person and California via telehealth. I came to this work because therapy changed my life. After navigating my own experiences of birth trauma and pregnancy loss, I understand how finding the right therapist can truly transform your path. I specialize in helping people who’ve experienced anxiety, overwhelm, life transitions, and loss, as well as supporting couples, individuals, and many adults in their launching phase or navigating career shifts. I also specialize in supporting the prenatal, postpartum, and new parent communities. As a parent of a 4.5 year old and a 1.5 year old, I know intimately how challenging the early days of parenthood can feel.

I believe therapy is a collaborative journey where we can work together to help you break free from what’s holding you back, whether that’s a life transition, relationship struggle, or feelings of anxiety, stress, or depression. My approach is rooted in compassion and flexibility, integrating tools from cognitive behavioral therapy, Eye-Movement Desensitization Reprocessing, Parts Work, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Somatic Experiencing. I strive to create a space where you can feel safe, supported, and empowered to grow.

In our weekly sessions, you can expect a safe and supportive environment where we work together to navigate your experiences with gentleness, humor, and grounding. My goal is to facilitate a collaborative journey that can be truly transformative. While there are no quick fixes, my clients often report feeling a sense of relief after just a few sessions.

Outside of this work, you’ll find me printmaking and illustrating, cooking, and exploring the California coastal trails with my family.
